David Troy Binns Recognized by Cambridge Who's Who
Analyst David Binns Seeks the Truth for the State of California
SAN FRANCISCO, CA, November 28, 2011 /HiTech PR News/ -- David Troy Binns, Analyst for the State of California Department of Corporations, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in information analysis.
Mr. Binns has 31 years of professional experience and has worked for over two years as a staff services analyst with the state of California. His areas of expertise are wide-ranging and include information analysis and communication. In his role as an analyst for the Department of Corporations, he oversees financial transactions and policies and assists in audit analysis to rule out investment fraud.
Prior to entering the world of finance, Mr. Binns had a long, varied and fascinating career as an intelligence analyst in the military for 20 years. He has authored force protection and peacekeeping scenarios for government defense force training and done public speaking on such topics as intelligence, country studies and country white pages, covering the social and political climate.
Mr. Binns attributes his long-standing success to his passion for serving his country and to having served in the U.S. Army for many years. He became involved in his present profession after returning to school for a bachelor's degree in business administration, with a concentration in management, which he earned from San Francisco State University in 2008. He holds certification in counterterrorism analysis from the CIA, which he earned in 1997, and U.S. Army Battle Staff certification, which he received in 1991. He is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society.
Mr. Binns has won numerous awards throughout his career. He received a Commissioner's Award in 2010 and is a four-time recipient of the U.S. Army Commendation Medal. He also earned a Meritorious Service Medal and three Achievement Medals from the U.S. Army. He garnered recognition from another branch of the military as well, receiving a U.S. Air Force Achievement Medal.
