Cadre Technologies 2011 User Conference Focuses on Supply Chain Collaboration

The meeting of customers, partners and Cadre staff was held in Kansas City, Missouri, September 26 and 27.
Cadre CEO Joe Peters opened the conference with an annual State of Cadre review highlighting progress during the past year. Peters also discussed emerging trends in transportation modes, inland ports and the importance of anticipating changes in the supply chain.
Cadre's board chairman Don Kirkpatrick highlighted the potential for collaboration by taking advantage of the collective network of Cadre users' facilities that span North America.
"Collaboration with other Cadre-equipped facilities provides the ability to expand coverage with more geographic reach, more capacity and totally consistent capabilities," Kirkpatrick explained. "The collaborative network of both Cadence and Accuplus WMS equipped facilities, tied together with LogiView and Web Access, is a compelling advantage in the logistics services market."
The conference also provided interactive presentations that detailed Cadre systems roadmaps for Cadence, Accuplus and LogiView. It also featured presentations by Cadre partners providing distribution planning, labor management, transportation management and managed IT services.
